May. 17th, 2013 02:12 amI wanted to do something for the sweethearts event at usuk commu even though I didn't have time. Funny enough I got a cold so I used it as an excuse to give me some time to do something for the AU theme. I really like the image of America getting washed up on shore so I did some Ophelia reference and added centaur England because there's none of those around. I have never painted so fast and its 11pm. Its still rough around the edges but I am so done with this, haha.

I saw “The Hobbit” today, and its amazing and really moving. Its a tad bit different then the book, but the characters are so spot on especially Thorin. I was really hoping there will be more focus on the dwarves since there wasn’t much in LOTR and even in book there’s not much so I’m really thankful that that wish has come true. The one thing I’ve been questioning is where the first movie would end, and well it didn’t end the way I thought it would but its better and perfect. Wish we didn’t have to wait another year for the second one! Overall, I feel its a bit rushed but its still amazing. Wished I could see it in IMAX D:
